There something about US

Between the two of us, Jhomsz is the laid back one who doesn't fret easily. He teases me on the first sign that i become agitated when comes to our wedding preparations. I can't blame myself, i'm a bit paranoid  that things might not go the way we want it. He usually reminds me that it is still pre-mature and our wedding is still months away, i just have to relax and breathe. There were times that i had tantrums, accused him that he doesn't care at all. Well that`s the estrogen talking. After my moodswing he will just laugh, brag at me that he is at his best when he is cramming or being pressured. However , for the past months he is now singing a different tune. He is anxious, impulsive, loosing weight ( i thought bride is the one  expected to loose weight) asking me to send our caterers' package which i send for the nth times and this one was a shocker, he told me that he can already feel the pressure of planning a wedding! I didn`t expect that he will crack up this soon (baby i told you planning a wedding ain`t that easy).
While me on the other hand seems i lost my "mojo". No longer have the juice to check on our wedding preps. not even to browse the net since a 9.0 magnitude struck Japan on March 11 which also happened to be Jhomsz's birthday. Where we live we only experienced  (approx.) 5 magnitude  it was strong but still consider ourselves lucky, it pales in comparison to what happened in Sendai. Fear.Panic.The aftermath of it was really frustrating. For weeks we have regular earthquakes, our day won't pass without at least 3 earthquakes either with 2, 3, or 4 magnitude.

Now it's been a month, i lost track counting the aftershocks that still continues. Despite the hurdle of being separated  we're still going to get married and we're only 9 months before the big day. There are still many things to be done, i have to help Jhomsz in any way i can so i have to pull myself together. For starter i have to force myself  to write something in our blog to condition myself  `coz i really need my "mojo" back.

Tell Me Your Dreams

Planning a wedding can be stressful specially if you don`t have an idea where to begin with. At first when Jhomsz told me he already knew a caterer & a venue i felt relieved. But the planning doesn`t stop there so after googling the net i stumble into Weddings at Work web page. I would say it is a very reliable community where brides and brides to be (B2B) generously share their own dream wedding, creative ideas, tips and ratings on which supplier that can break your heart or supplier that won`t let you down. As well as which suppliers are high-end or in a mid-range rate, which can save me time from inquiring and keep me to my real world (you know budget thing). Within a week of simply reading the w@wie posts i made a 180 degrees turn. I know now which supplier that will help us make our own dream wedding = )

The community somehow teach the newbies how to navigate the wedding preparation with ease. My friends noticed that when we attended our friend`s  wedding at Tagaytay they told me it seems i knew every details of the wedding, little they did know i`m a member of w@w... hehe. So i made a promise to myself after our wedding no matter how long it will take me  i will make my own supplier ratings that hopefully can help future brides. It`s now my turn to tell them our dreams, after all we owe it to the community :)

WARNING:  Being a w@wie can be addictive! B2Bs have a different hype!!! :P

Meet the Friends

The night before my flight back usually we`ll have our dinner together or sometimes with his family but this time he surprised us when he invited his close friends and their better halves. He just asked his friends to come to Gerry`s Grill but did not elaborate what was the occasion. I thought since it`s been long over due so he just make an extra effort to squeeze everyone`s schedule so we can finally meet. I was excited and nervous at the same time. On the other hand his friends we`re already guessing what`s the dinner all about. After Jhomsz introduced me to his friends they had a strong hunch that Jhomsz will have an announcement to make.
"Announcement!" Oh no not now! We just met! Not in front of your family! I don`t know how will i react the last time he caught me off guard i froze! I wanted to talk to him and tell him what where his thinking, convinced him if ever he plans to say something there will be a next time where i am more prepared. But to no avail he`s already having a good time. I try to keep calm, convincing myself  it`s nothing and i`m just over reacting besides it`s not his style. Until he asked everyone`s attention (OMG! just smile, he will say it in a short direct to the point & soon it will be over). He did not just make an announcement he made a speech, telling them we`re getting married. That was the first time he did something cheesy! I can`t believe he did that but at the end of the day  i`m smiling from ear to ear :p

"Cheers"

The Proposal

It was January 7, 2009 we were on our way to the mall to meet his parents, sister & brother-in  law for a get together lunch, some sort of pre-despidida thing which is actually not a despidida because this was not the first time i have to leave.
After a sumptuous meal we went on our own, do our thing. It was just a typical mall strolling day for us. Or that`s what i thought. Until he gave me a small box, then he asked me  " Baby will you be my wife?". I didn`t saw it coming! I just stared at him weighing if he`s just joking. But he was dead serious! There were so many things running on my mind... but one thing is for sure this is THE MOMENT!!!
Tick...tick.. another minute passed tick, impatiently he said " Baby say something". I`m just just holding my breath, seems like i`m a lifeless creature. I don`t want to look like an idiot i want to say something but i can`t say a damn word! Why i can`t utter an effing word! This is it, my moment. It`s just three letters  Y -E- S  for crying out loud! Then he said " Baby bakit ka nag ba-blush (Baby why are you blushing)?". That`s my wake-up call with pleasantness i said " I`m Not!" (of course i`m in total denial `coz i felt my face turn red). He burst into laughter, i`m controlling  myself not to. He asked me to kiss him if it`s yes and that`s what i did :D

I should be crying, jumping for joy when he proposed just like what i always see in movies when their boyfriend ask the million dollar question.. instead shocked register in my face! If i have a power to turn back time? hmm...? naaah i won `t change a thing. I guess i`m just a   "blushing bride" (^-^)

Love Actually

Jose Mari  who studied from an all boy-school  never had a serious relationship. While Sharon Lovely  raise by a strict family never been on a date. They consider themselves amateurs, but both are confident that having a serious relationship is just like learning abc. Until they met in ABC (Allied Banking Corporation).

1st Impression     He says: "Suplada"                      She says: "Antipatiko"

After a week long company orientation  NO SPARK  though he send her a couple of messages but she just ignored it.

After six months        She says: "I love you too"

After 2 years     She says: "You know what i feel for you but i have to leave.I`m sorry"

He says: " I love you that`s why I`m letting you do things you want to accomplish"

                        Other says: "Hmm...mahirap yan"
